BUSH RECORDS UPDATE....Two weeks ago the White House announced that George Bush's National Guard payroll records from the third quarter of 1972 could not be found because of the "inadvertent destruction" of certain rolls of microfilm. Today, the White House announced that their previous announcement of "inadvertant destruction" was actually an "inadvertent oversight." The records have been found after all. That's a lot of inadvertent-ness. The result, however, is the same as always: Bush didn't show up for drills of any kind during that period.
