Who will extreme-liberal CNN hire now for their token moderate?

But, won't that hurt Fox's crediblity?

Well, I guess if you call Novak a moderate, then you'd have to call CNN extreme liberal. Really tbroz, I don't think even Novak calls himself a moderate.

Why don't they just put a real straw man in the chair? Cheaper, and just as honest.

Just what Fox needs, another decrepit and ugly old bastard to balance their bevy of lip-glossed, frosted hair bimbos.

I expect Judy Miller to be joining him any time.

Novak comes on board at FOX just in time to gear up for the hate mongering for '06.

From Tip O'Neill's "Man of the House," on p. 272 of the paperback, when he was majority leader:
"When Evans and Novak came to my office, they had the gall to offer me a deal; if I kept them informed as to what was happening in Congress and the White House, they would see to it that I receive great press notices, which would help smooth the way for me to be the next Speaker.
"I was ashamed to be in their company, and I kicked them right out of my office. I'm a forgiving man, but I find it difficult to be charitable to these two."

I think we have to redefine the old adage so that Fox, and not patriotism, is now the last refuge of a scoundrel.

I wanna see Coulter and Novak on a panel show. I want to try to decide which one is the feudal aristocrat vs which one is the constitutional monarchist.
Actually I just want to see if jowly bags make me laugh harder than fake boobs.

Fox is building into its roster a fail-safe level of asshole redundancy.

I'd rather see Congo again.
But not The Care Bears Movie. Rumor has it that The Care Bears Movie has been used for black site interrogations.

Actually, I hear that E.D. Hill of "Fox & Friends" is actually rather a moderate. Though maybe she just looks liberal compared to her show's cohorts.
And she'd probably have a softer spot for hawks (the ones living on a Fifth Avenue apartment ledge, not military ones) than Paula Zahn or her husband.
