MORE MOCKERY....More Hugh Hewitt mockery by John Holbo over at Crooked Timber. Of course, John has a fancy post-somethingorother degree and a more creative mind than me, so his mockery is a lot funnier than mine:

Subtler and ultimately more satisfying would be a genuine, 24-karat gold-plated imitation 24. In the first episode, "Download PDF For Murder", terrorists have encrypted their plans in an email attachment that can only be read using the latest version of Adobe Reader. Sweaty which wire do I cut? tension as the heroes race against time to crack the main Adobe site. This mouse has TWO buttons! Just PICK one!

Read the rest. It's a weekend!

That doesn't excuse Zogby's refusal to provide the data with the results, in the same format, type face, and font size.

Your denials don't change the reality.

Perhaps Zogby should have also provided the mouse, along with a post-it indicating which button to push to download the appropriate software.

zogby also used plain english to encrypt the data within the pdf.

Maybe Zogby should have included in the email, a self-executing macro that downloads your address book, and sends the message to all of your freinds. At least everyone who runs Windows machines would be informed.

Over at Polipundit.com, DJ Drummond has documented Zogby's decline in credibility since the mid-90s when he was the hottest pollster around.

Drummond's review is devastating to Zogby.

Within a year or two, I expect Zogby will only be polling for MoveOn.Org, George Soros, and other Lefty agenda groups.

He is becoming an embarassment.

While we're here lets talk some about how Islam isn't inherently fascistic,

OK OK, I took Kevin's suggestion and actually read Holbo's Hugh Hewitt "mockery."

People have different tastes in humor, I guess. I didn't find it funny. I'm curious how many readers would find it funny.

Real mice are hybrid human-mice manimals!

David Letterman: "Looking at the Monica Lewinsky scandal and the Dick Cheney shooting incident it seems clear that the major difference between Republicans and Democrats is what they mean by a load in the face."

My mother: "I don't know what that means, but it sounds disgusting and I don't think you should have anything to do with these people."

Zogby isn't beholden to you. Run your own poll.

I thought it was funny.

And I think the TV show actually would work. I'd surely watch it. I love 24, and part of the reason is that except for Jack Bauer, all the other agents are either moles or incredibly inept. The bad guys kill almost every single agent (other than our Jack) sent out to watch a safe house, respond to a distress call, etc.

Plus, the BushMisAdmin is soooo incompetant that they'd provide free material each and every week!

Comedy Central should run with this idea--The 24-Hour Daily Office Show, staffed with actors who can improvise from each day's revelations from the Least Able Administration EVER.

I get the feeling that BigRiver and Cheney's idea of funny is Moe poking Curly in the eyes.

Born to be wild,

Bill O'Reilly --the 1975 edition,

As I recall you'd get that look by tranquilizing your hair with quaaludes.

It helps if you can understand all the big words.

Priceless. A Sonny Bono groupie!

Intelligent ones, and readers who aren't Republican hacks. That explains you and Charlie.

mmm...still too sophisticated for them.

Posted by: haha on March 4, 2006 at 5:41 PM | PERMALINK

No, as demonstrated on these pages the sociopath Lynne Cheney's idea of fun is making fun of John Edwards for the death of his young son.

This business with indicting Republican congresspeople for the bribes they've taken is typical liberalism in action. They can't win at the ballot box, so they take it to the courts. ;)
