I am just not into the video part that much. I like to read. I don't want to own a computer with all the bells and whistles. At work we aren't allowed to have macro flash or whatever that thing is; so, there are limitations when cruising the internet at work on my lunch break. I like great pictures, especially of cats. But, moving pictures on this little screen I find mostly annoying. I don't think the video stuff will be available many years from now; but, the print stuff still will be.

Just when I was wondering if blogging was becoming too incestuous, MY provides the proof.

I just realized one of the things I like about this blog is that I don't have to scroll over the wasted space of v-logs. Thank you.

Beauty is subjective. Maybe it's because I've lived in Honolulu too long, and I'm therefore outside a lot -- but I think that both of them look like they are in dire need of some exercise and sun.

I enjoyed the segment and found it touching.
And I am always a sucker for beautifully filled book shelves!
How articulate both brothers are.

Vblogging combines the worst elements of two mediums - video's hostility towards substantive language, and blogging's lack of aesthetics. In other words, it's boring and can be hard to follow, depending on the subject matter.
It's nice to put a face to familiar authors, and I agree with consider wisely always above in this circumstance - but I can't imagine Vblogging finding a niche beyond serving as casting videos for bloggers who want to move on to tv.

Off topic-
There is a great post on The Carpetbagger Report from a couple of days ago about the mainstream media's (specifically Time magazine's) ignoring the prosecutor purge scandal.
http://www.thecarpetbaggerreport.com/archives/10367.html
What explains the failure of the mainstream media to cover the purge scandal for so long, and so many other scandals? Do you think somebody just set up newspaper editors to cheat on their wives, and threatened to tell if the editors wouldn’t play ball when they come back some day and ask for something?
It wouldn’t be that hard to do, when you think about it. People wouldn’t talk about it.

This is what passes for smart in your neck of the woods?
Heaven help us!
PS Thanks for wasting a few minutes of our lives with that link.

The majority of my friends are smarter than MY so I am not suprised that his younger brother is as well.
