While I wouldn't go so far as to say I miss him - point taken. Putz-horetz just doesn't have the elan and charm, does he?

"I am (republican), who built the eiffel tower out steel and brawn. You're just a (liberal) with a tiny brain. A brain 1/3 the size. It's science"

You obviously cannot understand how it is that we're winning when we're actually losing- no, wait- we're losing, no-you;re -It's gotta be your bull.

I rue the day that Ted hung up his keyboard. Not merely one of the sharpest wits, but one of the classiest persons blogging.

You only miss Ted because Norm Podhoretz is such a complete right-wing boob, whose rigidly uncompromising ideological certitude allows him to slough off facts like water off a duck's ass.

Podhoretz substituted for Tony Blankeley on PBS's The McLaughlin Group a couple weeks ago, and I couldn't help but feel sorry for the man while listening to him relentlessly spew his shopworn GOP talking points, if only because he's apparently incapable pathologically of harboring any sense of shame or embarrassment himself.

And you know the necons' day in the sun is rapidly drawing to a close, when they turn on William F. Buckley. This could get very, very ugly.

Mr. Buckley, if I remember correctly, once served in a war. What about the individual who called him a coward? These people are beneath contempt.

Unrelated, but archetypal Republican corruption story.
