Link doesn't work for Mac users (Safari or Firefox.)

I just have to say that you could at least make a passing reference to The Editors long body of work in documenting and giving awards to wingnuttery.

Link doesn't work from the permalink page. It works for me in FireFox on the main page.

Teehee. I just caught up on the comments. Some people really have their knickers in a twist.

Those aren't KNICKERS, Tilli. Those are STRAIGHTFORWARD, AMERICAN boxer shorts or tighty whities. None of this boxer brief and low-rise nonsense the leftist metrosexuals can't get enough of.

Hey, you missed one!

http://www.truthout.org/cgi-bin/artman/exec/view.cgi/60/19780

Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald spent more than half a day Friday at the offices of Patton Boggs, the law firm representing Karl Rove.

During the course of that meeting, Fitzgerald served attorneys for former Deputy White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove with an indictment charging the embattled White House official with perjury and lying to investigators related to his role in the CIA leak case, and instructed one of the attorneys to tell Rove that he has 24 business hours to get his affairs in order, high level sources with direct knowledge of the meeting said Saturday morning.

I can't make your link work. I can't vote for my favorite wingnut! Waaaaaaaa!

Posted by: Anne Gilbert on November 5, 2007 at 5:09 PM | PERMALINK

Hrm. Link not working for me in Firefox, either.

Posted by: Frank on November 5, 2007 at 5:36 PM | PERMALINK

No, shortstop... I imagine them wearing knickerbockers.

And bow-ties.

And beanies.

If you can't get the link to work, just scroll down. It's still on the main page.

The comments thread was hilarious, particularly when some offended idiots demanded we engage those posts seriously, as if any of those posts were worth taking seriously?! The mind boggles.

Kevin,

you win the award for pissing off the most wingnuts - a high honor indeed.

btw, Krugman is at the Tattered Cover in Denver tonight - everybody come on down!

None other than Kim Du Toit replied to my post in the thread and saw fit to specifically deny that he was a) impotent, b) a misogynist, and c) had a French girl's name.

But he didn't deny he was a weakling.

Significant?

This one's for you, Kim!

Just voted
Ben Domenech, Robert Hahn, Glenn Reynolds and the clear winner Steven Den Beste.
"I'm afeard France will go to war on Saddam's side"
WTF is that?
Someone needs a jacket witht he extra-long sleeves.

Noted:

Robert Hahn - If a Democrat president was spending like Bush, would he understand money better than anyone/everyone?

Funniest line goes to John Hinderaker – “A man of extraordinary vision and brilliance approaching to genius, he can't get anyone to notice.”

Observations from the roof - Kim du Toit provides a load of nostalia from a guy who misses the Nashville Network.

Check out this late entry.

so I'm not going to vote, because I haven't time to read them all. (The one's I looked at are about, I don't know, 800 pages long or so.)

But I want to ask, are there any more insane than "the Pussification of the Western Male"? Cause, I mean, that's f---ing nuts.

Posted by: DBake on November 5, 2007 at 7:21 PM | PERMALINK

Is it possible for Kevin to create an "Honorable Mentions" post listing other worthy wingnuttiest posts? No list of horrible posts is complete without something from Belmont Club.

just to see the aggregated buffoonery all at once is a shock to the senses. It's very hard to tease one from the other, rather it's amazing how they all seem to blend into the same niggardly collection of moans, the same mixture of blinkered certainty and sneering dismissiveness, absent of any substance or sense. These are the high priests of the wingnut blog world, and yet not one of them shows an ounce of thoughtfulness or humility. Breathtaking.

Misplaced Patriot: "Link doesn't work for Mac users ..."

... which provides a very good hint as to why Macs only constitute 5.9% of all computer purchases in the United States.

shortstop: "None of this boxer brief and low-rise nonsense the leftist metrosexuals can't get enough of."

Yeah! And don't even think of bringing up hoity-toity liberal elitist brands like Polo by Ralph Lauren, or that brand preferred by pointy-headed intellectual Defeatocrats, 2(x)ist, which sounds like the mutant spawn of a dangling participle and an Algebra II equation.

Hanes and Jockey forever!

I just got through reading the entire collection (ooh, a little vomit in the back of my throat there). I have to say, I misread the title of Bill Whittle's masterpiece. I was sure it said Tripe.

Works fine for this proud to be a Mac user since '87. Did you, uh, turn it on first?
