MAKE IT STOP....Some blog posts can give you nightmares just by showing up in your RSS feed. Like this one:

VIDEO: Highlights from the Power Line Book of the Year ceremony. Henry Kissinger, Norman Podhoretz, Mark Steyn, and more.

Brrr. Mark Gisleson has the appropriate response (scroll down a bit for the picture).

Well, Al (if that is your name) - I have a problem with ideas that are really shitty and don't work. Other than that...

Picture? There were lots of pictures - including why Monica is voting Republican. The whole post was too funny!

Wow. Kevin, you give much better links these days than back when you were still the Calpundit. For a moment I thought I had been Slashdotted.

Anyhow you might be even more interested in this post:

Blissful counterstroke

Did you mean: blissful counter strike

Enough said.

I've been reading this blog for years, Kevin, and I have one question: what the fuck is "The Washington Monthly?"

Posted by: Orson on February 18, 2008 at 10:43 PM | PERMALINK

OK, can someone tell me which image at norwegianity I am supposed to be looking at ? I'm missing it.

Can you give "My Pet Goat" an award six years later?

I had some observations last week about what Kissinger said at that ceremony, if you're interested, Kevin.

Posted by: Gary Farber on February 19, 2008 at 8:25 AM | PERMALINK

I was unable to open one picture at Kevin's link, which I suspect is the relevant one to this topic. Anyone know how to do so?

I would request that posters debate the points made at the book award ceremony. It's not an argument to call Malkin a racist or to call someone from Powerline "Power Toads Ass®ocket", or to comment "Brrr."

Evidently most of you disagree with Kissenger, Podnoretz, and Steyn. Could you please state your reasons?

"I would request that posters debate the points made at the book award ceremony."

ROFL.... Dear heart, given your comments here, you are hardly in a position to make such requests.

"It's not an argument to call Malkin a racist or to call someone from Powerline 'Power Toads Ass®ocket', or to comment 'Brrr.'"

Dear heart, when someone's views are so bizarre, so beyond the pale, so batshit insane, one need not take them seriously or come up with an "argument". Malkin, PowerLine, and Podhoretz have amply and repeatedly demonstrated that they fit into this category. As with your comments here, the only appropriate response is laughter and mockery.

"Evidently most of you disagree with Kissenger, Podnoretz, and Steyn. Could you please state your reasons?"

Try Google, dear.

[that's enough trolling for one day]

Oh, what a shame. I was so looking forward to seeing the next troll post from our dear chum, faux-liberal. I can always use a good laugh.

Is that guy really an ex-liberal? I thought all of us knew how to spell?
