Fox sucks.

Now that Obama has thrown Wright under the bus and backed over him three or four or ten times, will those on this blog who have been defending Wright apologize to those of us who rightfully saw this as a big problem for Obama?

You need to give advance warning when linking to Andrew Sullivan's site. Not all of us are as in love with him and his bile as you are.

Looks like Fox presaged what just happened at Bambi's presser. Man, he sure is piling the older generation under his bus at quite a rate, first his grandmother, now his pastor of 20 years.

Well at least he is equal opportunity - old white ladies, old black men. He's managed to cover both sexes and both races, how divine.

They shouldn't, they shouldn't. Splitting with an old friend/mentor is a process, not an instant judgement. If he split at the first instance of trouble, he would be a hysteric like McCain or Hillary.

Obama shows great balance here. Very presidential.

fox is bad, public broadcasting is just as bad. i watched the lehrer news hour last night and was treated to a massive segment on this. i mean seriously, wtf?? and tom ashbrook on npr spent an entire hour-long segment on it. why should i send them my hard earned dollars if i can get the same "content" for free from fox? meanwhile, diane rehm, bless her, was doing a segment on bpa in plastic. what i would have loved to have heard is a discussion of how the candidates propose to fix the fda! but no, we're treated to this bullshit manufactured so-called scandal. until somebody, anybody, holds mcsame to the same standard, can everyone just stfu about wright? please???

I wonder if Clarence Thomas will come to Obama's defense? He could say something like this:
"This is a circus. It's a national disgrace. And from my standpoint, as a black American, it is a high-tech lynching for uppity blacks who in any way deign to think for themselves, to do for themselves, to have different ideas, and it is a message that unless you kowtow to an old order, this is what will happen to you. You will be lynched, destroyed, caricatured by the American media rather than hung from a tree."

Much to their credit FOX doesn't claim to be "Fair and Balanced" any more. It's "We Report, You Decide" showing a charming lack of confidence or somethng far more dark.

I always did wonder why sharks attack. It can't be that they are efficient eating machines and we look like food can it?

I mean OK we go into their environment and mimic their natural prey but why does that mean they would attack us?
