Turns out evangelicals aren't amused I wonder if families that include a mother who is a former drug addict should be allowed to adopt children? Wait until next Tuesday, he'll be against it again. And going forward, some of you may decide that my (FISA) GAY ADOPTION position is a deal breaker. That's ok. But I think it is worth pointing out that our agreement on the vast majority of issues that matter outweighs the differences we may have. Yeah, I wonder how that would go over with Christian Right? If only we had a religious belief in our US Constitution, instead of this 4th Amendment, what!!! What the heck does that old law doctrine have to do with our personal social issues? Call it the Church of Freedom, so it's to bad it has so few parishioners in this country today.
If Dick Cheney can support gay adoption why not McCain? McCain sure isn't as good at triangulation as Clinton was. Maybe he should just start saying what he believes.
