The NC spread is 3 not 6.

My prediction is that all these "undecided" voters are going to stay home on Tuesday. If your that lukewarm about either candidate at this point, would you be likely to wait in line for (potentially) hours to cast your vote? I doubt it.

@ Jim - That is a good thought -the GOP's voter suppression efforts actually working against them.

Get ready for another stolen election, folks. The GOP has been working on this one since 2004.

I tried to post links but my comment was censored by this site.

Really hope they are wrong. But it is looking very bleak given the weak excuses NOW being heard on corporate media: youth vote not turning out (they turned out for the primaries -- don't believe it); the Bradley effect; and of course their best meme of all time: voters LIE in anonymous exit polls -- YAR.
Question is what are you prepared to do when the GOP steals this one?

The Columbus Dispatch poll is a mail-in poll, and as pointed out by the Great Orange Satan is pretty worthless.

Regarding the Mason-Dixon polls:

As for the election being stolen (again), I don't think so. You can monkey around with votes at the margins, but this election isn't at the margins. Still, I hope Obama wins if only to set the paranoia meter back to zero. (If your meter actually goes to zero.)

This election won't be able to be stolen, but unless the Dems get off their asses, the next one will be.

i saw a jeremiah wright ad here in connecticut.

Isn't there a copyright issue with the Jeremiah Wright ad? They're using footage from the DVD's published by the church. This isn't news footage or public domain footage, it's material published by a private organization. Even if they're pulling their footage from a news cast, they still don't have the legal right to use that footage do they?

The latest trumpeting is about Obama saying that harsh cap and trade etc, would "bankrupt" a coal plant:

BTW, it shows how totally phony Drudge is, that he doesn't feature the prank "Sarkozy" call to Palin - it was clearly the type of story he would carry if he was honest.

A McCain pac just ran a Wright ad on MSNBC, at least in NYC.
"Obama - too radical"
Posted by: M.B. on November 2, 2008 at 3:21 PM | PERMALINK
Barack Obama --
He'll lower taxes on 95% of Americans. Too radical? No.
He'll end our occupation of Iraq. Too radical? No.
He'll work to end our addiction to Middle Eastern oil. Too radical? No.
He'll work to set the economy back on track. Too radical? No.
Barack Obama isn't the radical in this race. The radical is the mud-slinging Republican John McCain who pals around with George W. Bush and a lot of lobbyists.

A Rev Wright ad was on the TV here in CT. Well if Mr McCain wants to waste his money here in a state that is blue - go ahead. By the way we are also blue due to Lieberman.

How to know on Monday night how this contest will end:
Go through all of the polls tomorrow, state by state. All states where the difference between McCain and Obama is 3 points and less, no matter who is ahead those states will be called for McCain.
Then do the electoral math.
The stealing of this election will be done at the electronic voting machine level where it can be hidden in those 3 points.
It's also why the McCain camp has been so focused on getting the national polls down to a 3-point difference. That's for the politics of trying to sell a stolen election. About his possible it is that it legitimately happened.

JaneC I just don't see it. This ain't 2000. Just like we have boodles more security since 9/11, we also have boodles more election safeguards than we did then. We are definitely better prepared. If there's any mischief, it won't go unnoticed.
2000 was not just theft and pure evil, but the height of incompetency on both sides.
Remain calm and remember why we're here.

Call me paranoid, but after 2000 + 2004, anyone who doesn't think that the GOP will pull out all the stops to steal their 3rd consecutive Presidential election is either a cockeyed optimist or a bloody fool.
There's only one way for Obama to win this election, and that's for the exit polls to be so overwhelmingly against McCain- and a 60:40 ratio might not be enough- that any attempt to steal the election will be too apparent for even the GOP to try it.
Long story short: don't get cocky. Let's get out there, canvas, talk to people, + get those Obama voters to the polls. This may be the last chance we get to save our beloved country; let's not blow it.

And another anti-Obama add starring Rev. Wright here in Oregon. Surprised me since it's not like it's a tight race here.
