QUOTE OF THE DAY.... Once in a while, Karl Rove makes it a little too easy.
Karl Rove called Joe Biden a "blowhard" and a "liar" in response to some of the vice president's comments about the Bush administration. [...]
Rove said on FOX News, "You should not exaggerate and lie like this when you are the Vice President of the United States."
Yes, if anyone knows all about a Vice President of the United States who exaggerates and lies, it's Karl Rove. As I recall, he has quite a bit of experience on the issue.

Again and again, Rove engaged in countless instances of lying, obfuscation, and character assassination, and the moment he and his friends are out of power he accuses their replacements of what they had done, thinking that no one has a memory, and that no one will note the supreme irony.
They really are living in an alternate reality completely of their own making, hoping that everyone will join them in their account-free utopia. It sure would be nice if someone, somewhere with a loud public megaphone would point this out once in a while...

How long can it be before someone accuses Biden of shooting a friend in the face with a shotgun? After all, if Republicans do it, everybody does it.

another day of right wing talking points on Washington Monthly I see. Why no post on Obama continuing Bush's state secrets policies or on Obama's Afghan strategy?
Keep fighting the last war and amplifying right wing talking points. Karl Rove, scum of the earth, will always be able to get his inane messages and incoherent ramblings out on Washington Monthly.
btw/ the broken clock Rove was right about one thing, Biden is a blowhard.

Yes, like a pots and pans salesman, the clinking and klanking of irony can be heard from miles away! Why yes Karl, I'll take a couple black pans and a couple black pots - or would it better suit you if I took the purple ones?
Best advise to dear ol'Karl - go crawl under a rock somewhere where we won't have to see you or hear your madness! -Kevo

grinning cat - just read your post and agree. Pres. Obama's continuation of any part of the Bush years concerns me the most now. The WM may want to catch up with the present and begin covering the current administration a bit more! -Kevo

His friends own the MSM so he is able to lie (as he has always done) and they repeat it and make it the truth for the ignorant.

A serial exaggerator and a professional spinner pointing fingers at each other. We should be so concerned.

To paraphrase Goebbels, or Goering, or whoever the hell it was: If you're gonna be full of shit, make sure you're completely full of the nastiest, rankest shit you can find.

See the Daily Beast, where a right wing talk host, noting the death of the Republican party, says:
"The Republican Party’s death doesn’t really threaten anyone, and I puzzle why Democrats and independents who vote Democratic spend words and worry debating the look of the corpse."
Why Why do you spend so much time tut tutting over this corpse.
Get on with your life, stay on Obama and the corrupt stooges in the Senate and make sure they don't screw this opportunity to govern.
Your entries are trite, 75% of them take the easy route of observing the obvious, the Republicans are assess.
That is like taking candy for a baby.

Andrew and grinning cat, I agree. There are too many things to be working on that will affect our future to be paying much attention to the dying gasps of the past. What Rove and his ilk say is too predictable to worry about and who's really listening anyway?

Yes, if anyone knows all about a Vice President of the United States who exaggerates and lies, it's Karl Rove.
Are you saying that Saddam did not actually have a box cutter in his drawer that he could have used to hijack an airplane and then fly it into the White House?

I find it more than a little bit humorous that Karl Rove, a paid political consultant on the FNC, would warn viewers about Joe Biden's "lies and exaggerations" when conservative memes based on lies and exaggerations, and delivered wth theatrics are all Fox News does 24/7. Karl Rove, media clown, what a joke!

So if I'm Biden i say to lying ass Rove prove it. And if you don't I'll kick your ass in the media.

This is classic Rove, and illustrates a technique he comes back to over and over again. He very frequently accuses Democrats of a charge that would more appropriately be leveled against Republicans. It's almost a tic with him. At first I thought the idea would be to get in his attack first, so that when the Democrats make the much more supportable charge, it makes the Democrats look like they're playing a childhood game of "I'm not, you are!"

As an old jarhead I say that Karl Rove is a pathetic candy assed pussy faced asshole. He'd be great running along the target line out at the rifle range. Everybody should get a shot at that piece of crud. Rove vilified a fellow vet John Kerry. Rove is a god damned liar.
