Oddly, Amy Bishop is apparently still employed by the University of Alabama in Huntsville. The university has already suspended Bishop without pay, retroactive to Feb. 12, the day Bishop shot six colleagues.

According to an article by Lee Roop in the Huntsville Times, Ray Garner, director of public affairs at UAHuntsville, said Thursday that “the university is moving forward with the process of terminating her employment.”

The school’s new slogan, adopted in the wake of the shooting, is “charge on.”
