On Value
Well, it’s official. It looks like the feeling people have about college value is starting to get worse. According to a piece by Sharalyn Hartwell in the Washington Examiner:
The most educated generation in America’s history [is]… starting to question the value of a college education. A Country Financial survey released Tuesday found that only 64 percent of 18 to 29-year-olds think college is a good financial investment, a steep decline of 13 points from last year.
This is not a case so much of people thinking that college itself is wasteful; college is just too expensive and much of this is paid with student loans. And considering many college graduates are having trouble just finding entry-level jobs, of course they wonder if their college loans were worth it.
It looks like a whole lot of people are wondering that now.
