(Fixed: I initially had listed Terry as a Democrat.)
Rep. Lee Terry (R-NE), reacting to the Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2009, which was just passed in the House and which will eliminate federal subsidies to private lenders (such as, to take one completely random example, Nelnet, which, like Terry, operates out of Nebraska): “I didn’t come here to make sure government runs every aspect of our industry and culture.”
So cutting government subsidies to some private companies means that government “runs every aspect of our industry and culture.” I’m writing this all down.

Terry is a Republican.

Rep. Lee Terry (D-NE) -- Terry's a Republican, not a Democrat.

Lee Terry is a Republican Congressman. Fix it.

To be fair, the Congressman did run ads appealing to "Obama-Terry" voters, so a little confusion is justified.
