Today wraps up the first week of the Monthly’s annual pledge drive.
The Monthly is a nonprofit organization. We have print and online ads, but these only covers a small part of our expenses, which means that we depend on contributions from readers to stay running.
If you’re a regular reader of the College Guide, Ed Kilgore’s Political Animal, or the print magazine, you know that the Washington Monthly offers the kind of cutting-edge reporting and analysis the country needs now more than ever, breaking big stories well ahead of major mainstream outlets. So, I hope we can count on your support. This year we’ll send those who donate $150 or more a signed copy of Monthly founder Charles Peters’ latest book, Lyndon B. Johnson.
