Now, according to an article by Sarah Anne Hughes in the Washington Post, she’s done. Hughes:
The supermodel turned TV host/production company founder received her diploma from Harvard University’s Executive Education Owner/President Manager Program on Feb. 17. Those enrolled attend one three-week session, which currently cost $33,000 a pop, per year for three years.
This diploma is really more like a certificate of attendance at a very, very expensive conference. The Executive Education program does not actually offer a degree. According to Hughes:
Although Banks didn’t earn a master’s or doctoral degree from Harvard, she will still receive alumnus status, according to the university’s site. The Owner/President Manager Program is designed for “CEOs, COOs, presidents, and managing directors of companies with annual sales of at least $5 million.”
It’s probably best for Banks to avoid mentioning that “alumnus status” in the presence of a real Harvard graduate, however. [Image via]
