Claire's background in magazine management and book promotion includes 19 years as Director of Circulation, Advertising, and Business Management for The American Scholar, a journal published by the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Prior to that, Claire worked as marketing manager for the National Academy Press, the publishing arm of the National Academy of Sciences/National Academy of Engineering/Institute of Medicine.
