| Phillip Longman has been a regular contributor to the Washington Monthly since 1982, and he became its Schwartz Senior Fellow in 2010. He his is the author of many books, including Best Care Anywhere: Why VA Health Care is Better than Yours, which grew out a cover story for the Monthly in 2005 and has recently been updated and expanded in a second edition. He has also been associated since 1999 with the New America Foundation, where is also currently a fellow, concentrating on health care delivery reform, demographics and infrastructure issues. He was formerly deputy manager editor for business at US News & World Report. |
