By Jesse Singal

Tonight’s links are brought to you by the insanely helpful and awesome Tammy, aka Blue Girl, and her Nightowl Newswrap, which is back on her blog later tonight after a three-week hiatus. Make sure to go to there.

* This morning Mitt Romney announced an “Ohio Manufacturers for Romney” coalition to shore up his support in the Buckeye State in advance of Super Tuesday, but two of the corporations in the group received stimulus money. That’s not good!

* There is a group called One Million Moms and they have very strong opinions on things, particularly gay things.

* Ayn Rand would have hated Ron Paul, says the author of a book about the nation’s recent bout with severe randitis. Let’s hope time travel is never invented, because it would be really awkward if those two met.

* Middle-aged men agree: middle-aged men are the most qualified people in the world to make decisions about women’s reproductive health.

And here’s a song with a fitting title given the current state of the GOP nomination fight:

Night, all.

If they weren't insane, one million moms could probably make better use of their time - I don't know, maybe raising their millions of children?

Then again Ayn Rand would hate most everybody.

I doubt Jesus would have left his crypt to listen to Rick Santorum, either.

Just imagine the outrage of the one-millionth mom if she saw an actual gay couple right thar in ToysRUs. I would expect that their next step, if they succeed in banning Archie, is to try to ban real gay people from the store. 'Cause how would they answer their children's questions??

    Dear ToysRUs,

As a mother who would rather marry a duck-billed platypus than become a member of OneMillionMoms.com, I am extremely pleased to learn that select Toys 'R' Us stores are now selling 'Archie' comic books with a same-sex wedding displayed on the front cover....

Awww, poor OneMillionMos! First DeGeneres gives a very cheerful, peppy "eff you" speech about how the Moms can go take a long walk off a short pier, in of course very nice and gracious-sounding words. Then one of the guys who runs Archie Comics gives a very nice, gracious "eff you" speech to Moms that essentially, in very pleasant and polite terms, suggests that they take a long walk off a short pier.

It's hard to be a bigot these days!

Tomorrow's a big day in the U.S. Senate. A vote will be held over Roy Blunt's amendment, with all Republicans lining up to take a whack at women's rights in America, Romney, Santorum and all Senate Republicans getting ready to bludgeon to death women's rights.

Wow, talk about a Blunt Instrument, but instead of baby seals being bludgeoned to death by a blunt instrument, arch-conservative religious Republicans are taking aim at the rights of American women with their Blunt Instrument.

How many men, women and children in America will die if this Blunt Instrument amendment passes in the U.S. Senate tomorrow?
