Great job today Jesse, and a very cool video to leave with us at the end of the day.

I just thought you should know your phrase "an octopus riding a donkey riding a skateboard into a sadness quarry" is quickly becoming the most popular descriptor among my circle at work.
Kathryn on March 01, 2012 5:50 PM:
Thanks for filling in, enjoyed soothing video, helped me purge Rush Limbaugh's hateful words uttered today.

Heather Wilson's got a problem: from TPM
The husband of a campaign staffer for a Republican candidate for Senate in New Mexico is under investigation for allegedly committing a felony by registering the couple’s dog to vote as part of a stunt to show how easy it could be to commit voter registration fraud.
Lock this dumb shit up for at least 90 days. No time off for good behavior.
Make him read the abundant supply of "Voter Fraud" studies which collectively indicate you are more likely to be killed by lightning than encounter this type of fraud.
Then make him write a 100,000 word report on the non-issue, using only facts for material.

Yes, good job, Jesse. Nice, fresh writing. I still like Kilgore, mind you.

Kathryn - This morning GMA opened up with the "firestorm" over Limbaugh's crude remarks. George Steph. started by saying he "almost" called her a prostitute, but Robin jumped in and said "he actually said that".
And they didn't even say "there's over the top language on both sides".
Has hell frozen over??? This is the sort of thing they used to let go under the radar screen. Of course, I'm talking to the TV, asking why you couldn't have pointed out Limbaughs odious comments about the SCS being reparations for black people.
Between this and Brook's column last week, I'd say the Village may finally be facing up to the horrible train wreck the Republican party has become.

From an earlier blog...
First, I am shocked and saddened to hear that CAP, an organization I worked for for two years, is anti-Israel, though it does explain the mandatory jihadi-video-watching meetings that took place every Friday.
If this was not snark and really the intended meaning of Singal; I hope that he is never allowed back to this site as a guest blogger.

Re: SadOldVet
Of course it was snark geez.
Thank you for filling in Jesse.
I enjoyed your posts. The "octopus riding a donkey" is hilarious :)
