It's fine to not like Jackson Browne. But no need to be a snob. Besides, as a friend of mine once said, 'Jackson Browne's voice is an acquired taste, but if you don't like David Lindley, you just can't hear'.

Probably the only Jackson Browne song I ever really liked...
As a Jackson Browne fan, I am ok with you liking or not liking his music. Still, one Jackson Browne song liked is one more than I ever liked of Micheal 'The Pedophile' Jackson.
Now, give me your opinion on the greatest American poet and songwriter ever, Bob Dylan.

I was a huge Jackson Browne fan before he got popular. After The Pretender, however, he went really sappy and top 40 ish for several years.
This was about the first good song after that period.

As one who lives on the SC/NC border south of Charlotte, let me put in a vote for Redneck Friend (even if it is a metaphor...). At least it rocks.
Roddy McCorley on July 17, 2012 12:16 PM:
Check out "Redneck Friend" or "Road and the Sky." And I heartily echo the sentiments regarding David Lindley expressed above.
