* Speaking of yawns, David Brooks is bored by presidential campaign.
* At College Guide, Daniel Luzer reports law schools, short on applicants, are offering more generous scholarships.
* Panetta asks Syrian military to stay in place “when”—not “if”—Assad deposed.
And in non-political news:
* Onion recall spreads across U.S. and Canada. And we’re not talking about “The Onion,” so it’s real.

Apparently, Boner does not have the votes in his Tea Bag House to pass the appropriation deal he worked out with Reid and Obama. This should certainly come as no surprise to anyone, especially Obama. Therefore Boner is putting the House vote off until September, which will probably turn into October.....and then until after the election when it can be held hostage once again.

I don't quite see the yawn in Romney blaming the media.
1) It furthers the meme that Romney can't take the heat of a normal campaign. He's a wimp who blames others when things don't go perfectly for him.
2) It improves the chances that 'the media' will start to loathe him. Never a good spot to be.
