Man, the hits just keep coming today.
A big item in the wingnutosphere today, started by Drudge, is that the Obama campaign (and specifically, Stephanie Cutter) are USING COMMUNIST PROPAGANDA MACHINE in tweeted references to a Xinhua News Agency column calling out Mitt Romney for China-bashing after making significant wealth doing business with that country.
Um, shouldn’t these folks inquire a bit into the accuracy of Xinhua’s claims (particularly since there is clear evidence Bain Capital did in fact do business in China while Romney was in charge) before leaping on anyone quoting them? Seems that anyone defending a job-creatin’ entrepreneur who did business with the godless Chi-coms might have a little beam-mote issue with blasting someone who just quoted them.

It's Roger Rabbit and "shave and a haircut, two bits!" - they'll always pop up for that.

No.
This ends today's edition of SATRCQ - Simple Answer to Really Complicated Question.
For Pete's sake, there's a meme to be formed!

They can't help themselves. It's all they know. They are fueled by idiocy.

they'll simply deny Romney worked for Bain.....and the Media will say "both sides do it"

You expect integrity? Winning is all to Romney &co. It has ever been thus.

"Oh look, shiny object!" or, to be more exact "COMMIES!!!"
ANYTHING to draw attention away from Mittens' latest gaffe, while cementing the growing belief his "campaign" couldn't win a Middle School election.
Not to mention that labeling a news item as "propaganda" doesn't mean said item is false. Although, to be fair, they may be going by past experience. After all, when a Republican is involved, the chances of any propaganda being true DOES fall to next to zero...

Hell, Rom-Me's biggest campaign contributor is Sheldon Adelson who is a direct proxy for the Chinese government! Gore was threatened with impeachment because he called a Chinese donor from the wrong telephone, but if it's a Republican groveling before the Chinese, none of those idiot Birchers seem to care!

I've been noticing a series of articles on the possibly felonious tax practices of equity companies like Bain (and Bain itself) in the NYT business section. (Turning the salaries paid to executives into 'investments' in the company, then taxing them at capital gains rate, rather than as salaries when they withdraw them. This is obviously what got Mitt his 13% rate--)
Could all of Mitt's fol-de-rol be deflecting attention from this?

Maybe they did. And since they couldn't call it a lie, they went with LOOK! COMMIES!

Jason,
Ah, yes. The big boys taking advantage of the bailout was all the fault of Obama and the Dems, wasn't it? After all, Democrats ALWAYS support mega-corporations and the super-rich, don't they?
The Fed hiding the facts had nothing to do with it, did it? The lobbyists (and their often Republican supporters) who pushed for a "No Strings" bailout had nothing to do with it, either. The GOP's obsession with deregulation and allowing Finanacial guru's to do whatever they want also didn't affect the bailout at all.
Nope. It's all Obama's fault.
Thanks for clearing that up.

Jason, your spit-flecked post got my monitor all spotty.
No one is forcing you to like Obama, but to actually vote to put Mitt "Stericycle" "China Dealings" "Cayman Accounts" "1.5 Tax Returns" Romney into the most powerful seat of the land and expect him to suddenly change into a better person, or to champion Republicanism over Really-Really-Richism, who will give you and your life a thought, is pure fantasy on your part. I won't say hypocritical, just fantasy.
You don't like Obama, fine, but don't replace what you consider "bad" with someone "worse" and then go expecting things to get "better". That is fantasy.
