Trying to get myself enthused about the day’s likely political news diet of fiscal talks and austerity demands. So here’s Roxy Music performing “The Thrill of It All” in 1976.

Always loved Roxy Music. A few years ago, I opened my morning LA Times and saw a large photo of an obviously shaken Bryan Ferry in the cabin of a passenger plane after a crazy guy freaked out and tried to crash the plane en route from London to South Africa, I believe - Ferry had been one of the passengers who subdued the guy.

One of my favorite bands of the era. Saw them live a few times...they were GOOOOOD!! That video comes close to showing how tight they were. Truth be told, Ferry was my style guru when I was in college...the man had it in spades!

Thank you for sharing this Roxy Music clip and an earlier Little Feat video. I became a fan of both groups when I was a student in London a long, long time ago. 30
