More Christmas music, this time from the Roches. Their Christmas record We Three Kings is my favorite traditional-type Christmas album.

Better than the secular holiday music... but it's hard to not cringe at the twang in their voices.

Nothing beats a choir for Christmas music. Merry Christmas!

ah, the roches ... i remember the first time i heard we three kings, while driving to work. the roches were being interviewed abut the album, just rerleased, on morning edition and their music was like a revelation to me. for some reason, i missed their name their name so i called npr to track them down, then hunted all over creation (this was pre-internet download days) until i found the cd. it has been far and away my favorite christmas album since.

    merry christmas!

There's just no better, truer harmony than when family members sing, especially when it's Maggie, Terre and Suzzy.
