I’ll finish up the night with another favorite Christmas recording of mine, the Crystals’ “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers.” It’s from one of the all-time greatest Christmas albums, the one by Phil Spector. Why is it that Jews seem to make a lot of the best Christmas music? Jewish songwriters, after all, wrote “White Christmas,” “The Christmas Song,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” and a host of other famous Christmas songs. Discuss this intriguing phenomenon in the comments! Or not.
See you all tomorrow. And don’t forget, we’re having our fundraiser, so do toss a few bucks in the kitty if you can. Even small amounts help keep us afloat, and are warmly appreciated.

regardless of ethnicity, these great songs are almost all secular, which is what you would expect to have the broadest appeal.
