This looks likely to be a dark, brutal week in Americans politics, and since I spent a good part of my weekend watching old episodes of Damages, here’s The VLA performing the dark, brutal theme song of that show, “When I Am Through With You.”

    Greetings, Ed.

    Scandals de jour...
Republicans openly salivating, upping the hysteria with glee.
As for the IRS, perhaps groups such as the tea partiers widely claiming they are “taxed enough already” might actually BE in the business of lying to the IRS to avoid paying taxes.
Tax-exempt status for insulting the president and demanding his birth certificate, or holding placards depicting him as hitler?
    Just sayin’

Meanwhile, here is a fine, detailed and nicely written compilation of major scandals—-->big time major, and "lots of them..." **G.W. Bush”s administration.**

So when's the final season going to come out on iTunes/DVD, anyway?

The ending of Season 4, with the break between Patti and Ellen coming down to a timing issue, was disappointing. But as much as aspects of the show annoy the crap out of me, it is hugely watchable. Hey Damages production company: take my money and give me Season 5!
