May 19, 2014 9:33 AM Getting Revved Up For May 20

By Ed Kilgore

Tomorrow’s a pretty big primary day, particularly in my home state of Georgia. For the most part, I’ve shirked downballot campaigns in the Peach State, other than to note a good while back that 11th District congressional candidate Barry Loudermilk exemplifies the kind of “bench” Republicans seem to be building (the fiery “constitutional conservative” Loudermilk has since emerged as the front-runner in the race to succeed Rep. Phil Gingrey).

But today via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Aaron Gould-Sheinin I spotted my new favorite GOP congressional candidate anywhere. His name is Brian Slowinski, and he’s running to succeed Rep. Paul Broun with a campaign message totally in the spirit of the incumbent. Gaze in awe at this video:

Watch out Barack and Hillary!
