First big primary of the year last night had me watching returns online while eating BBQ, though not North Carolina-style BBQ. We work with what we’ve got.

Here are some midday noshes, with some leftover BBQ sauce:

* Still no concession from Keith Crisco to Clay Aiken in NC-02 Democratic runoff. Official tally has Akin up by 369 votes.

* At the Prospect, Harold Meyerson describes $15 minimum wage set in Seattle as template for future of collective bargaining.

* The Atlantic’s Emma Green reports on the rapid drop in the percentage of U.S. Latinos identifying themselves as Catholics.

* Vox’s Brad Plumer supplements National Climate Assessments with maps showing current effects.

* AP has an update on ethics probe of Rick Perry.

And in non-political news:

* Real-life model for movie “Bernie” obtains early release from prison.

As we break for lunch, here’s the Stones performing “Gimme Shelter” in St. Louis in 1997.
