July 17, 2014 11:26 AM Potential Jewish GOP House Members: And Then There Was One

By Ed Kilgore

A while back I noted that there were really only two viable candidates to succeed Eric Cantor as the only non-Christian Republican member of Congress, both Jewish: Lee Zeldin (the GOP nominee in NY-01) and Adam Kwasman (a primary candidate in AZ-01).

Well, Zeldin must be feeling lonely today after Kwasman conducted one of the most efficient acts of political self-destruction since Todd Akin decided to talk about rape:

There’s nothing quite so hilarious as boomeranging demagoguery, is there? And thus endeth, more likely than not, the political career of Adam Kwasman. He’ll have to go back to promoting bad public policy as an economist.
