NBC reports that federal prosecutors are investigating a camping trip Jim Kolbe took in 1996 with two teenage pages. Fine. At this point nothing surprises me. But one of the pages involved isn't talking to the press. Is it because he respects the criminal justice system and doesn't want to prejudice the investigation? Or because he doesn't want to be embarrassed in front of his friends and family? No and no.

"I don't want to get into the details," he told NBC. "I just don't want to get into this... because I might possibly be considered for a job in the administration."

A federal investigation is looking into serious crimes and he refuses to answer questions? It's one thing to tailor your resume for the position desired, but this is just showing off.

Couldn't his statement be read, "Put me on the payroll fast or I'll hold a press conference."?

His mindset reveals the partisianship of the GOP. That young GOP supporters, truly beleive in looking out for their self-interest and party power over the intersts of America. In short they are unpatriotic.

It could simply be he is exhibiting the well-known nacissism prevalent among men who engage in homosexuality. After all, he was not invited on that boat trip with Kolbe because he was straight. I think the odds are low, that any straight male would go on a rivertrip with an openly gay representative for several days. Nuh-uh.

The page program has been a bastion of homosexuals like the priesthood for decades. The truth is simply now coming to light.

Fordham and Foley were gay, Kolbe was a page in 58 and he is gay. More than likely, a lot of senior aides and staffers are gay as well.
