An eye-catching quote from Bush: Okay, it's a little off-midterm in subject matter, but this quote from President Bush caught my eye. Bush, praising Cheney today, said, "The good thing about Vice President Cheney's advice is, you don't read about it in the newspaper after he gives it." Alright, so he's evidently still miffed enough with Powell to send out barbs like that.
But the good-thing-about-Vice-President-Cheney's-advice line also invites a complementary follow-up. Perhaps Bush intended to add, "On the other hand, the bad thing about Vice President Cheney's advice is..."
Suggestions?
