Everybody’s laughing about this poll but it looks accurate to me! According to the official figures, voter turnout in Texas in the last presidential election was 46% of the voting-age population. So 44% seems like a reasonable guess for this year.

What can I say? Molly had it right when she questioned the logical thinking abilities of Texans in general and politically oriented ones specifically.
But then every once in a while, someone does something like this just for the humor of the situation, like a Matuszewski telling a Pollack joke.
