Last month I wrote that for a $6 donation one could receive a Team Romney slap bracelet. It turns out some lucky Republican out there can come away from this election with a far more interesting prize. Or maybe just weird.
Between October 13 and October 20 (you can still enter!) supporters can sign up to win a guitar signed by country-rock star and rapper Kid Rock (seen below in what was surely one of the more awkward moments of Ann Romney’s life).
The guitar is also signed by Congressman Paul Ryan.
“Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney may have different playlists,” Team Romney assures Americans interested in the guitar contest, “but both can appreciate America’s rock and roll tradition.”
Well yes, though I’m fairly certain the music of Kid Rock doesn’t feature too heavily in the playlists of either GOP candidate.

In keeping with their usual practices, the Romney/Ryan team outsourced their "grand prize" overseas. The guitar in the picture is a an Epiphone G-400 (a copy of the Gibson SG) which is manufactured in Qingdao, China.
